Carmen J. Crawford, 76, of North 150 West died at 11:37 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Carmen was born in Lawrence County on December 15, 1935, to the late Thomas and Elva Glodena Goodman Stafford. She married Howard Wayne Crawford on November 24, 1955, at Pinhook Christian Church.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Ferguson and Lee Funeral Home, 818 18th Street in Bedford, with John Sichting officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver and Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Burial will be at Pinhook Cemetery in Pinhook, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Carmen is survived by her husband, Howard Wayne Crawford; daughters, Mechael (Gary) Charbonneau of Bloomington and Nicole (Danny) Hollander of Nashville; grandchildren, John Gage, Jessica Gago, Abigail Hollander and Aubrey Hollander; a sister, Deanna Beth Moore of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
Carmen was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Amaryliss Dawn Flynn and Maribelle Kast.
