The Brown County Art Guild is hosting two special events this week. The first will be for the “125th Birthday Celebration of Marie Goth” on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at the Guild. Everyone is encouraged to wear a festive (or sensible!) hat
and to celebrate the life and legacy of this amazingly talented woman and artist. Marie established the Brown County Art Guild in 1954 and

The second event, “Remembering Herman, An Evening with James Capshew” will be on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. Meet the author of Herman B. Wells, The Promise of the American University and enjoy light refreshments. Readings followed by Q&A and book signings will be the highlight of the evening.
