Musician gives back to his hometown community

Don Ford, will be performing live at Common Grounds Coffee and Tea Shoppe on Saturday, February 19, from 4:00 to 6 p.m. Common Grounds is located in the Colonial Building at 66 N. Molly Lane.

Donations of canned goods and non-perishables will be collected during the show to help Mother’s Cupboard Community Kitchen provide hot meals to Brown Countains in need.

Ford said, “I’m hoping for a positive response. I’ll collect food for them at all my events, if possible. These kind of things are my way of giving back to my home county. I’m impressed by the work, Mother’s Cupboard does.”
