This Is Brown County

Rita R. Roberts died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at her Nashville home. A Brown County native, she was 58.

Ms. Roberts was born in Brown County on February 23, 1952, to Otha and Ethel Jean Roberts. They survive in Brown County.

Over the years, she has worked in several restaurants.

Survivors include her parents; two sons, Damon Zink (Adrienne) of Indianapolis and Christopher Zink (Heather) of Ellenton, Florida; a grandson, Samuel Zink of Ellenton, Florida; three sisters, Lin Perry (Damon) of Atlanta, Georgia, Kay Campbell of Naples, Florida, and Shirley Arney (John) of Hope; a brother, Loran J. Roberts (Linda) of Brown County; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Barkes, Weaver and Glick Funeral Home, 1029 Washington Street in Columbus, with the Reverend Hurschell Joslin officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday, also at the funeral home.
